OUR CABINS
Our cabins each feature beautiful northwoods decor, Wi-Fi, cable TV, air conditioning, comfortable queen size beds with quality Tuft & Needle mattresses, a private fire ring, and well-equipped kitchens. Everything is designed to help you enjoy your vacation and make great memories with your family.
Each cabin is unique and each one has its own list of couples and families that come back to it year after year, some 30+ years in a row, and some more than once in a season. One of these cabins could become the retreat you call your home away from home.

Birch Cabin (#1)
Birch Cabin has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed. The other bedroom has a queen bed.
Two fold-down couches form a queen and a full-size bed, bringing the total sleeping capacity to eight people.
Birch Cabin's deck and living room offer spectacular views of Big Chetac Lake.
The closest cabin is over 50 feet away.
Maple Cabin (#3)
Some people have been spending their northwoods vacation in Maple Cabin for years. It has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed with a Tuft & Needle mattress.
A futon in the living room folds down to form a full-size bed, bringing the capacity of Maple Cabin to six people.
Maple Cabin has an enclosed porch and a deck offering great lake views regardless of the weather.

Oak Cabin (#4)
Oak Cabin is our largest cabin. Until 2021, it was the home of John and Bonnie Nystrom for 10 years. Newly renovated in 2020, it has a beautiful interior and panoramic views of the lake.
Two bedrooms feature queen size Tuft & Needle beds. The large new bathroom features a five foot long shower. The large living/dining room has an oak dining table that can expand for up to eight, a rocking chair, a leather recliner, and a fold-down couch that forms a queen size bed.
The large kitchen features everything you need to cook up whatever your family wants, and two large pantry cabinets to hold all your groceries.
Beyond the kitchen in the Sunset Room with lake views to the north and west. Enjoy it as a living room, a temporary office (just ask us for a table), or a third bedroom. The fold-down couch forms a full-size bed and a sliding door and curtains give you a private, quiet retreat from the rest of the family.
The large deck has two tables--room enough for ten. Or use one of them as a buffet table if your group is smaller.
No steps at the east and north entries plus a roomy bathroom make Oak Cabin our most accessible cabin for guests with mobility issues.

Pine Cabin (#5)
"The Honeymoon Cabin." That's what Alice Nystrom called it. It's just the right size for a couple or a family with one or two small children.
Pine Cabin has one bedroom with one queen-size bed and one twin bed. A fold-down couch in the living room can form a full-size bed.
The "One-Bun Kitchen" has everything you need to cook delicious meals or reheat leftovers from our fantastic local restaurants.
Enjoy great views of Big Chetac Lake, regardless of the weather, from the living room, the enclosed porch, or the deck.
