Relax and look out on the lake from our wicker rockers.
When you first enter Maple Cabin you see beams and knotty pine everywhere. A gas heat stove and mini-split A/C ensure you stay comfortable in any weather.
The futon folds down to form a full-size bed, bringing the sleeping capacity to six.
A queen Tuft & Needle mattress will ensure a restful night.
The dresser was built by John Halberg (d. 1949), who bought this property for our family in 1942.
A second bedroom features another queen Tuft & Needle mattress.
And another John Halberg dresser.
The kitchen was completely renovated in 2021.
Lots of counter space for doing meal prep together.
Plenty of cabinet space for your groceries.
Yes, that's a dishwasher next to the refrigerator.
The window above the sink looks out on the lake and the lagoon.
Open the windows in May and early June to hear a spectacular frog chorus.
Maple Cabin is part of Nystrom's Resort, so the grounds are there for you to enjoy.
The shower is in a separate from from the bathroom, a feature many families appreciate.
Maple is our most private cabin.
Maple Cabin is never more beautiful than when the setting sun lights her up. Come and stay a while. Maybe Maple Cabin will become your home away from home.
