We are John and Bonnie Nystrom. We own and operate Nystrom's Resort. We love spending the summers here carrying on John's family legacy. 

But running the resort is our hobby, which we do with the help of great staff.

So what's our "day job"? We are missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators. John coaches local pastors in Papua New Guinea who are translating the Bible into their own languages. Our website is here. A 30-minute film about our work is here.

John's parents are no longer with us, but we still care for Bonnie's mom and her brothers. They live in Seminole, Florida, so that's where we spend our winters. We need to be in the U.S. to care for them, so we continue our work with Wycliffe and the Papua New Guinean Bible translators from Florida and Wisconsin.
